I was recently asked to give a talk at the Seattle Revit User Group on rendering Revit geometry inside of 3ds Max. Needless to say it was a huge honor and a lot of fun. As a relative newcomer to Seattle I was excited to be speaking inside the Microsoft Auditorium in the Seattle Central Library.
Topics included such things as 3d plants and grasses, memory management (proxies), VRay as a rendering engine, material structuring, displacement, rendering hardware and more. The whole thing was filmed as a screen cast and is accesible from the 'Film' menu on the left navigation menu or else from the link below. Please check it out!
